perhaps the most powerful bang for your penny. Well, ok, it'll
cost more than a penny if we do it, but you CAN do it yourself
if you have that kind of time. It's a time consuming and tedious
job, BUT it is VERY EFFECTIVE.
RELEVANT CONTEXTUAL linking is also important. We
encourage all our clients to exchange links, OR get links, from solid,
relevant, value-laden websites that will make SENSE
if you connect the dots.

from google is that if you have loads of unrelated links on your
site it will,
in fact, HURT your rankings. They're really trying to perfect their
algorithm to assess the amount of relevancy between content and
search terms... and apparently, they determine some of that by
the content
on the pages you are LINKED TO. If it doesn't relate - significantly
- to the content on the site/page the link is on, it can count
AGAINST you.
More simply... if your site is about coaching and
you link with a site about elephant racing . . . unless you
are an elephant racing coach, that link is not going to do you
a single bit of good as far as the major search engines are concerned.
Make
sense yet? I thought so.
Think about it like this - when you're searching
for something online and you visit a website that has what you're
looking for, are you pleased or perturbed when you click a link
that takes you off on a completely disconnected tangent from your
original
purpose? If you're pleased, well, then link to whoever you want.
If it bugs you and makes you wonder why you waste your time, then
stick with us, and we'll help you determine who should get valuable

on the market. You can't buy it - and if you try, it will invariably
backfire... and the really good guys always finish first. So, walk
